Dire au revoir (Saying good-bye)

Public transportation is the way to go in Hamburg. Even with 8 people and 4 big suitcases we managed just fine on the bus and train. Grandpa has figured out every bus route. He and Grammie are old pros at "catching a ride"!
The hardest part of our trip was saying good-bye. We are so proud of Reed and Marilyn. They seem to make every place they go a better place to be. We loved being with them. Spencer has reached the age of growth & just before we left he challenged Grammie to a "who's taller" standoff. It looks like Spencer is officially the winner! As our train started chuggung it's way out of Hamburg Lilly fell to pieces and cried and cried as she looked out the window to see Grammie & Grandpa waving good-bye. Our hearts are still in Hamburg with you both! Thanks for everything!!!!
